Welcome Clare Revell

Today I’d like to introduce you to author Clare Revell.

Underneath the Christmas TreeHi Clare. Great to have you here. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I’ve been married for over 31 years and we have three grown children, two of which still live at home. We have a cat who is ten and a dog who is two. We live in England.

It’s great to have you here! What were your favorite books to read as a kid?

Anything with a lot of adventure or action. So some of the Enid Blyton books, Wilbur Smith’s Adventure books.

I don’t think I’ve heard of any of those. How many years have you been writing?Carole of the Bells (Christmas Holiday Extravaganza)

Since I was five and old enough to write. Dad kept my school books which were full of my version of fairy stories. That turned to fanfiction in middle school which eventually turned into my own stuff.

How sweet. Do you have a favorite setting for your books?

All my books are based in a fictional version of where I live.

That’s neat. Are you a crafter? If so, what do you like to do?

I used to cross stitch and sew but can’t see to do that anymore. So I crochet. A lot of blankets and a few jumpers. I also crochet amigurumi. Right now I’m making pigs in blankets.

What fun! Congrats on your Christmas books.

I also enjoy Clare’s books. Nobody does a Christmas story like you do, Clare. I’ve also enjoyed following the life trajectories of her two young detectives.
I enjoyed “Carole of the Bells” and have a review on Goodreads and BookBub. I’m banned from Amazon, sigh.
